Application assistance for dual US / German citizenship

Petra Korn, admitted to practice law in Germany and in California, has kindly donated her services to the SAGA auction. She specializes in helping qualified individuals apply for dual U.S./ German citizenship.

Qualifications include:
* german citizen with green card for three years (if obtained through marriage) or 5 years (if obtained through work)?
* have had the green card for more than 20 years

The services she offers include the following steps:

Step 1: Contact us for consultation!

In a free consultation we will determine your chances to obtain the 'Beibehaltungsurkunde.' During this conversation we will also talk about our flat fee for the preparation of the 'Antrag auf Beibehaltung der deutschen Staatsbuergerschaft.'

Step 2: We will send you a package with a checklist of all documents needed to prepare the application!

Provided we come to the conclusion that your application has a high chance of being approved, we will email you a detailed checklist of all documents we will need for the application, and we may also ask some additional background questions.

Step 3: You send us the requested information and documents!

You gather the requested documents, and send us the information and documents so that we can start with the preparation of the 'Antrag auf Beibehaltung der deutschen Staatsbuergerschaft."

Step 4: We prepare the application!

We review the documents received from you and prepare the application. We may contact you with additional questions and sometimes ask for additional documents. You will receive the final draft for review. Once you have approved the information in the application is correct, we will mail it to your local German Consulate General. The German Consulate General then forwards the application to the Bundesverwaltungsamt in Cologne, Germany. You will receive a copy of the entire application for your files.

Step 5: The decision of the Bundesverwaltungsamt!

After the Bundesverwaltungsamt has granted your application, they will send you a bill for the administrative fee. As soon as you have paid such fee, you can go to your local German Consulate General and pick up the Beibehaltungsurkunde.
The Beibehaltungsurkunde is valid for two years. This means, you have two years to obtain your U.S. Citizenship.
Please note, that we cannot promise any results or give you any guaranty about the outcome of the proceeding. To date, we have a 100% success rate with our applications.
